We are a family of skiers of all ranges of ability from beginner to expert and have been renting ski gear from Rich at SMS every season since 2006. The gear they stock is top quality, the staff are friendly and knowledgable, and nothing is ever too much trouble if you need to swap things over or make adjustments. We would never go anywhere else.

Been renting our gear from SMS for a few years now. Excellent quality of gear, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Prices are reasonable and not any different to shopping in Cooma if your motivation is to save a bit of money.

The main difference we thought is that we are much closer andand can easily swap gear if something is unsuitable or breaks..

My son lost one of his stocks on the slopes yesterday when he dropped it and it was then taken by a boarder (I guess to the bottom of the trail). They searched for it for ages had to be dragged away to find out just how much a replacement was going to cost. SMS were great to engage with the kids to chat with them about their weekend and how the missing stock was lost. The reimbursement cost was very very fair. That meant a lot as the kids had a great time on the snow and would've felt awful if we would have been given the tourist tax for a childish error. I can't speak for them, but I'm pretty sure who _they_ will recommend for gear hire 😁
